What I collect
When you request a free resource or join a list, I collect your first and last name, email address, which item or list you chose, your language, the date and time, and whether you checked the email box. On the client list and group waitlists you may also give your mobile phone number and your ZIP code (both optional). I use the ZIP code only to know if sessions in North Carolina would be possible for you. I text you only if you checked the box that says it is OK, only about the waitlist, and you can reply STOP at any time. Your phone number is never sold or shared for marketing. I also keep a small private list of who signed up, with the status of your request (for example, waiting or contacted) and short notes about reaching you, so I can reply in order when I begin seeing clients. Those notes never hold health information. To block spam, the server keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for one hour.
What I do not collect
This website does not ask for health information, does not use advertising trackers, does not fingerprint your device, and never sells information. Please do not send personal health details through the website or by email.
Visitor statistics
To see how many people visit, which pages help, and which buttons people use, this website keeps its own simple statistics: the page you viewed, the page that sent you here, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), your language, and your city, state and country as estimated by Cloudflare from your connection. It does not store your IP address: the server replaces it with a scrambled code that changes every day, so one day cannot be linked to the next. These statistics are deleted after 120 days. If you later sign up, the page you arrived on and the link that brought you here are kept with your sign-up so I know what helped you find me. To do that, your browser keeps a note of how your first visit started, in its own storage on your device (not a cookie). Clicks on the 988 and crisis links are counted only as numbers, never connected to a visit or a person. I also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not. Google Analytics is set up without advertising features or Google signals, its data is deleted after 2 months, and it never receives your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, or which list you join. To turn all of this off on your device, open gabriellazubiate.com/?notrack=1 once. Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are left out automatically. You can also block Google Analytics with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
How I use it
To send what you asked for, and, only if you checked the box, occasional emails with tips and news. Joining a waitlist tells me you are interested in that group, and I keep that private. I never sell your information. It passes only through the companies that run this website and its email, and only so the site can work.
Where it is kept
On this website's private hosting account in the United States. Only my household and the hosting company can reach it.
How long I keep it
Sign-ups: until you ask me to delete them. I review and delete old sign-ups once a year. Visitor statistics: 120 days.
Your choices
Email [email protected] at any time to unsubscribe or to have your information deleted.
Children
This website is meant for adults. Anyone under 18 should ask a parent or trusted adult to sign up for them.
Not therapy
Using this website or contacting me does not create a counseling relationship.
