My goal

I want everyone to be able to read this website and use its forms, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, large text, or a phone. The goal is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. The site is checked against it with automated tools and by hand before changes are published.

What is in place

Clear headings and landmarks on every page. Every image has a text alternative. Text and colors meet the AA contrast levels. Everything works with a keyboard, including the menu on phones, and the focus is always visible. Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content. Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion. Forms have labels, and errors are explained in words. Every page exists in English and in Spanish.

What is still limited

The free guides are PDF files made for printing. Some pages of the Calm Kids Kit are drawings with little text, so a screen reader will not describe them well. If you need a guide in another format, for example large print or plain text, email me and I will prepare it.

Tell me about a problem

If something on this site does not work for you, please email [email protected] and tell me which page and what happened. I read every message and will do my best to fix it or send you the information another way within a few business days.
